An open access fuel farm and aircraft refuelling facility was commissioned at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala.
The facility has been developed by strategically acquiring assets from multiple oil marketing companies. The move is expected to facilitate faster hydrant-based refuelling, reduce fuel handling emissions, and also bring down turnaround times.
Plans are also underway to unveil a jet fuel storage facility at the airport within two years.
