M/s Sri Uday Baishya received the work order for a contract worth Rs 998.79 million for implementation of the Haflong 24X7 Water Supply Scheme (WSS) in Assam under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation 2.0 (AMRUT) 2.0 on July 10, 2025. Bids for the same were invited by the Urban Development Department, Assam in December 2024.
The scope of work includes survey work, hydraulic design, construction of jackwell overhead pump house, intermediate pumping station, raw water pumping main, raw water pumping machinery, 7 million litres per day (mld) water treatment plant (WTP), clear water pumping main and gravity main to overhead service reservoir (OHSRs)/ ground service reservoirs (GSR), raw water transmission, clear water transmission, 81.28 km long distribution network, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and operation and maintenance (O&M) for five years.
