The electrification work on the 23 km long stretch between Subramanya Road-Sakleshpur section of the Mysuru-Hassan-Mangalore, including Hassan-Arsikere Railway Electrification Project has been completed.
The project involves electrification of the 347 km long Mysuru-Hassan-Mangalore railway line along with the Arsikere-Hassan rail section in Karnataka. It was sanctioned in the Railway Budget 2018-19 and is being executed under “Mission Electrification” of the Ministry of Railways (MoR).
