The joint venture (JV) of Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL) and Aaradhyaa and Company (ANC) has won a contract worth Rs 3,281.2 million for upgradation of Haji Ali storm water pumping station (SWPS) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Bids for the same were invited by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) in October 2024.
The scope of work includes upgradation of the storm water pumping station, along with complete mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation systems and civil repair works including operation and maintenance (O&M) for 15 years.
The work is likely to be completed in 18 months.
