M/s N. P. Patel and Company has won a contract worth Rs 3,088.33 million for the development of Phase 1 and 3 of sewerage project in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Bids for the same were invited by the Ujjain Municipal Corporation in March 2024.
The scope of work includes survey, soil investigation, design, laying of sewerage pipelines, construction of manholes, sewer appurtenances, providing house sewer chambers, house sewer connections, sewerage pumping station, pumping main, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and other related infrastructure including operation and maintenance (O&M) of 10 years.
The work is likely to be completed in three years.
