MCGM opens Haji Ali-Marine Drive Interchange stretch of Mumbai Coastal Road Project for public use in Maharashtra

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) opened Haji Ali-Marine Drive stretch of Mumbai Coastal Road Project for public use on February 12, 2025.

Besides, the final section connecting Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) to Lotus Jetty-Worli Naka is likely to be operational by March 15, 2025. The coastal road project involves construction of a 29.2 km (10.58 km in Phase I) long eight-lane coastal road which will run parallel to the existing stretch going from Nariman Point to Kandivali in Maharashtra at an investment of Rs 139.83 billion. The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) is implementing the project on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode.
