The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has conducted a safety inspection on the Nawada-Tilaiya section of the Kiul-Gaya Line Doubling Project (Coal Connectivity). Besides, speed trials were also conducted on the stretch at the speed of 120 kmph.
The project involves doubling, along with electrification of 124.3 km long Kiul-Gaya railway line in Bihar with an investment of Rs 13.54 billion.
