Ankita Construction and LC Infra Project Private Limited have won contracts worth Rs 2,198.25 million and Rs 1,645.11 million for development of underground drainage scheme (UGDS) in no network area of East and Central zone of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, respectively. Bids for the same were invited by the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation in March 2024.
The scope of work for the East Zone includes designing, providing, lowering, laying and of commissioning of a sewage collection system, providing house service connection (HSC), construction of two sewage treatment plants (STPs) having capacities of 3 million litres per day (mld) and 1 mld at Naregaon and Chikalthana market, respectively, sewage pumping station, sewerage pumping main and other related works.
Further, the scope of work for the Central Zone includes designing, providing, lowering, laying and commissioning of sewage collection system, providing HSC, construction of two STPs having capacities of 2.5 mld and 0.5 mld at Himayatbagh and Harshul Lake, respectively, sewage pumping station, sewerage pumping main and other related works.
