Structural works underway on four stations of Kochi metro rail project phase-II in Kerala

About 43 per cent of the structural work for the entry/exit buildings at Cochin special economic zones (SEZ) and Civil Station Junction and 18 per cent of the structural work at Chittethukara, Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Park, and Infopark stations have been completed under the Kochi metro rail project phase-II.

Besides, piling for the viaduct at Cochin SEZ station has commenced.

The project involves the development of an 11.17 km long metro rail network from Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad as an extension of phase I in Kerala with an investment of Rs 19.57 billion.
