Northeast Frontier Railway achieves breakthrough of tunnel-6 of Sevoke-Rangpo new rail line project in West Bengal 

Northeast Frontier Railway achieved a breakthrough of a 3.94 km long T-6 tunnel located in Kalimpong district in connection with the Sevoke-Rangpo new rail line project.

With this, more than 93 per cent of the tunneling work on the project has been completed. The project involves construction of 44.96 km long new broad-gauge line connecting Sevoke in West Bengal to Rangpo on the West Bengal-Sikkim border at an investment of Rs 78.76 billion.
