Construction of Srinagar’s twin flyovers nears completion

The ongoing construction of twin flyovers at Bemina and Nowgam on Srinagar’s busiest highway is expected to be completed within the next two months. Despite traffic currently plying on a mere 5.5 meter road, the flyovers are in their final stages, with completion anticipated by May or June 2024. Although work on these flyovers began after others in the region, progress has been rapid, and they are on track to be finished later this year. The completion of these flyovers is expected to significantly improve traffic flow and alleviate congestion on this crucial highway in Srinagar.
