Indian Railways (IR) is likely to launch Kerala’s first double decker train soon. The trial run of the double decker coaches of Kerala’s Coimbatore-Bengaluru Uday Express commenced on April 17, 2024. It was held on the route between Coimbatore and Palakkad via Pollachi.
