GGGI and EESL collaborate to execute ALCBT project

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), in partnership with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), has introduced the Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition (ALCBT) project in India. This strategic effort seeks to address increase in peak electricity demand in building sector across the nation, driven primarily by the rising demand for cooling solutions. As a part of the International Climate Initiative, the project is being funded by the German government, through its Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The project will be executed in three Indian states. One crucial aspect of implementing the ALCBT project involves evaluating 200 new and 200 old buildings in Kerala, 200 new and 400 old buildings in Haryana, and 200 new and 400 old buildings in Uttar Pradesh.
