The Ministry of Coal and Mines has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for multiple projects during its visit to Western Coalfields Limited (WCL).
These include the flagging off of 25 electric vehicles, foundation laying for the Black Diamond Sports Stadium in Kamptee, the Swami Vivekananda Eco Park in Tadali and the first mile connectivity project at the Sasti open cast mine in the Ballarpur. The ministry also reviewed WCL’s performance in coal production, safety, sustainable development, environmental protection and future projects.
