The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) conducted a safety inspection on the 27.5 km long Rajgarh-Khilchipur section of the Ramganj Mandi-Bhopal New Line Project.
The project involves development of a 276.5 km long new rail line between Ramganj Mandi and Bhopal in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, respectively with an investment of Rs 30.32 billion. It will connect Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh via several major cities-Kota, Ramganjmandi, Jhalawar, Aklera, Khilchipur, Rajgarh, Biaora, Narsinghgarh, and Bhopal.
