The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued the fourth revised approved list of models and manufacturers (ALMM) for solar cells.
The update include Evervolt Solar Technology India Private Limited entering the ALMM II list for the first time with an enlisted annual capacity of 1,074 MW. Evervolt will manufacture mono passivated emitter rear contact solar cells sized 182.2 mm by 182.2 mm with 10 busbars with efficiencies ranging from 22 per cent to 23.5 per cent. Evervolt Solar Technology is the only new company added in the latest revision. The revision also includes new model additions by existing manufacturers. Mundra Solar has listed a bifacial n-type tunnel oxide passivated contact cell (TOPCon) sized 182.3 mm by 210 mm with an efficiency range of 24.5 per cent to 25.7 per cent while Premier Energies has listed a PE Blue Shark n-type TOPCon 16BB model in the G12R format with 16 busbars and a claimed efficiency range of 24 per cent to 26 per cent.
