50 projects with a total investment of Rs 35.81 billion are currently under implementation as part of the government’s flagship Sagarmala Programme.
The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has approved financial assistance of Rs 15.32 billion for these projects, of which Rs 11.43 billion has already been released. Overall, 128 projects worth Rs 89.36 billion have been sanctioned for funding under the scheme, with the ongoing projects spread across states such as Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka and Odisha.
