The Union Government has approved Delhi Metro Rail Phase VA Project on December 24, 2025. The project comprises of three corridors spanning 16.08 km, entailing an investment of Rs 120.15 billion. The project comprises of 13 stations (10 underground and 3 elevated).
The corridors are as follows:
- RK Asham Marg-Indraprashta corridor spanning 9.91 km and has stations at R.K Ashram Marg, Shivaji Stadium, Central Secretariat, Kartavya Bhawan, India Gate, War Memorial – High Court, Baroda House, Bharat Mandapam, and Indraprastha.
- Aerocity-Indira Gandhi Airport Terminal 1 corridor spanning 2.26 km and has station at Aerocity.
- Tughlakabad-Kalindi Kunj corridor spanning 3.9 km and has stations at Sarita Vihar Depot, Madanpur Khadar, and Kalindi Kunj.
The project will be funded by the Government of India, the Government of Delhi, and international funding agencies.
