ReNew Energy Global Plc has signed an agreement with Google to develop a 150 MW solar power project in Rajasthan.
Under the agreement, Google will procure the project’s energy attributes, including carbon credits, to support its value chain emissions reduction targets. The project is expected to generate 425,000 MWh of clean energy annually upon commissioning in 2026. With this addition, ReNew’s commercial and industrial portfolio has grown to 2.7 GW, strengthening its position as a key provider of corporate clean energy and decarbonisation solutions in India.
