Uttar Pradesh government approves green hydrogen policy

The Uttar Pradesh government has approved a green hydrogen policy, and a proposal for setting up two units of 800 MW in Anpara in collaboration with NTPC at a cost of Rs 86.24 billion. Under this policy, the government aims to foster the transition from gray hydrogen to green hydrogen, with a focus on producing one million tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2028, within a span of four years.
