The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has collected around Rs 535.36 billion from 2020-21 till November 2023, as user fees at toll plazas on national highways through FASTag.
The breakdown of collections reveals Rs 59.74 billion in 2020-21, Rs 113.03 billion in 2021-22, Rs 188.43 billion in 2022-23, and Rs 174.15 billion in 2023-24 up to November 2023.
This data underscores the significant adoption and contribution of FASTag in streamlining toll collection processes on national highways, promoting digital transactions, and enhancing overall efficiency in the transportation infrastructure domain.
