Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has acquired Beawar Dausa Transmission Limited and Ramgarh II Transmission Limited (RIITL) through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB).
Powergrid will develop the project on build, own, operate and transfer basis with an estimated completion period of 18 months from the special purpose vehicle (SPV) acquisition date for Beawae Dausa Transmission. The project comprises of establishment of new 765/400 kV substation at suitable location near Dausa and 400 kV and 765 kV double circuit transmission lines traversing in Rajasthan and associated bay extension works.
