NHAI offers 30-year land lease to private players to develop wayside amenities on highways

The MoRTH has come out with a new policy for the development of wayside amenities along the national highways and expressways, on land belonging to NHAI or a private party. The new policy mandates grant of land to private parties for the development of wayside amenities on leases of up to 30 years. The land will be awarded on a competitive basis to the party quoting the highest annual revenue share amount.
