Gangavaram port notified amendments to BPTS with immediate effect

Gangavaram Port Limited has notified amendments to the Berthing Policy and Tariff Structure (BPTS) 21-22, with immediate effect. No shifting charges will be levied if the vessel is shifted on account of port convenience; shifting charges at the rate of 50 per cent of pilotage charges will be levied if the vessel is shifted on specific request of the vessel agent for its operational convenience; shifting charges will be levi­ed as per BPTS in all other cases. No additional lay-up berth hire hours will be applicable if the vessel is berthed at berth nos. 4, 5 and 6 where cargo is loaded/unloaded with the port’s mechanised system and delay is not caused on account of vessel.
