CIDCO and MIDC signs agreement to provide water supply to Taloja industrial area

City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) have signed an agreement to provide water supply to the Taloja industrial area in Maharashtra. The scope of the project includes the development of a 40 mld STP. The plant will be constructed by CIDCO and the treated non-potable water will be supplied to MIDC’s water tank in Taloja. MIDC will lay the pipeline network and storage tanks for the water supply. Along with that, as per the agreement, CIDCO will provide 20 mld of treated water to MIDC and MIDC will provide 20 mld drinking water to CIDCO in exchange.
