SBI plans AT-1 bond raise of up to Rs 50 billion as credit growth surges

The State Bank of India (SBI) is likely to consider raising funds through additional tier-1 (AT-1) bonds by end December 2023 to augment its capital base. The fund-raise may be in the range of Rs 30 billion to Rs 50 billion via AT-1 bonds.
