Ministry of Railways (MoR) has approved the Bathinda-Lalgarh Rail Line Doubling Project. Besides, a gazette notification has been issued for the project, and it has been declared a “Special Rail Project”.
The project involves doubling of an existing 320 km long railway line from Bathinda in Punjab to Lalgarh in Rajasthan at an estimated cost of Rs 34.55 billion.
