Polypropylene plant at GAIL’s Pata Petrochemical Complex witnesses commissioning

The 60 kilotonne per annum polypropylene plant at the Pata Petrochemical Complex of GAIL (India) Limited was recently commissioned. The milestone was achieved with complex processing configurations commencing within three months of the mechanical completion. The unit will produce three grades of polymer, including homopolymer, impact polymer and copolymer. Further, other associated utilities, off-site facilities, interconnections with the existing complex, a nitrogen plant and a mounded bullet were also commissioned.
