Indian Railways (IR) has completed redevelopment of 172 stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) as of February 2026. Besides, IR has repaired a total of 8,626 railway bridges during 2022-2025 (till December 2025).
Further, IR has sanctioned Rs 24.43 billion for various projects related to the upgradation/ augmentation of the three operational coach manufacturing units which includes Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, and Modern Coach Factory (MCF), Raebareli.
