IRB Infrastructure Developers has finalised the acquisition of Gandeva-Ena (VM7) hybrid-annuity-model (HAM) highway asset, valued at approximately Rs 12 billion, through its IRB infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) Fund.
These assets form part of the New Delhi Greenfield Expressway under the HAM model. The debt-funded deal bolsters IRB InvIT’s portfolio to 10 mature assets, eight build-operate-transfer (BOT) and two HAM, spanning 4,445 lane km worth Rs 176 billion.
With this acquisition, IRB now holds over Rs 900 billion in assets across 13 states.
