Various works completed for Redevelopment of Ajni Railway Station project in Maharashtra

Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has completed construction of two type-IV residential towers with 28 modern railway quarters in connection with the Redevelopment of Ajni Railway Station project. On the east side, the G+3 station building is nearing completion, with the reinforced concrete cement (RCC) framework finished and internal and external finishing works in progress. Installation of lifts, escalators, modern passenger amenities, and external facade works is also underway.

On the west side, construction of the G+2 station building has progressed with the completion of piling, while pile cap and plinth beam works are currently in progress following the partial dismantling of the existing metro structure to facilitate redevelopment.

Furthermore, works on the foot over bridges (FOBs) and the concourse are advancing to enhance inter-platform connectivity. Girder launching is underway at the north FOB, foundation and column works have been completed at the south FOB, and concourse piling and structural column works are progressing steadily, with reinforcement and column construction continuing at the central FOB.

The project involves major upgradation of Ajni railway station in Maharashtra.
