Eastern Railways (ER) has commenced the acquisition of land for the Bhagalpur-Dumka-Rampurhat Rail Line Doubling Project.
The project involves doubling a 177 km long rail line from Bhagalpur to Rampurhat via Dumka in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal at an estimated cost of Rs 31.69 billion.
