HNB Engineers wins contract for development of Akola Sewerage Scheme Phase 2 in Maharashtra

HNB Engineers Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 4,393.15 million for development of Akola Sewerage Scheme Phase 2 under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Bids for the same were invited by the Akola Municipal Corporation in August 2024.

The scope of work includes construction of a 483.14 km long trunk main and collection system, pumping station, rising main, sequential batch reactor (SBR)-based 71 million litres per day (mld) sewage treatment plant,  reinforced cement concrete sump, pumping machinery, supervisory control and data acquisition automation and all other related works.

The work is likely to be completed in three years.
