The Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation Limited (NMSCDCL) has completed work on 179 major and minor roads in the city, spanning a total of 36 km at a cost of Rs 2.37 billion. Although the original deadline for completion was June 2023, it was extended to March 2024 due to delays caused by the manual nature of the work.
Despite the delay, all roads developed by the authority are operational. However, the process of transferring these roads to the civic body is still pending.
