The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) granted the Donyi Polo Airport, in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, an all-weather licence. This enables the possibility of night landings at the airport. The airport is spread over an area of 690 acres and has a runway of length 2,300 meters.
