Demolition work on the old terminal (T3) of the Chennai airport in Tamil Nadu has commenced under the Chennai airport modernisation project-phase II. The project involves the enhancement of the runway capacity, apron capacity and terminal building capacity, new international terminal and other facilities at the airport.
