PPPAC grants final approval for Jajpur-Keonjhar Road-Aradi-Dhamra Port Railway Line Project in Odisha

The Public-Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) has granted final approval for development of the Jajpur-Keonjhar Road-Aradi-Dhamra Port Railway Line project. The project involves construction of a 101.26 km long new broad gauge railway line between Jajpur-Keonjhar Road and Dhamra port via Jajpur and Aradi under East Coast Railway. The project will provide direct rail connectivity to Dhamra port and will have 10 intermediate stations. The project is being implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode at an estimated cost of Rs 27.63 billion.
