BPCL commissions Matia LPG Bottling Plant at Goalpara in Assam

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has commissioned the Matia liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) bottling plant at Goalpara in Assam. The move marks the first LPG bottling plant of BPCL in Assam and the Northeast. Further, the first packed LPG truck was flagged off from the plant. The facility is expected to enhance the availability of LPG and its supply infrastructure across Assam and Northeast India, facilitating better last-mile service and faster turnaround. It is expected to cater to around 500,000 LPG consumers in the state.
