Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and Drydocks World, a DP World company, have formed a joint venture (JV) agreement to operate and expand the International Ship Repair Facility (ISRF) in Kochi. The partnership combines CSL’s domestic shipbuilding, repair and engineering capabilities with Drydocks World’s global expertise in vessel repair, maintenance and offshore engineering.
The expanded facility aims to serve a wider range of Indian, regional and international vessels, leveraging Kochi’s strategic location along major shipping routes. The venture is expected to create opportunities in ship repair, fabrication and allied maritime services, while generating skilled employment and attracting foreign investment.
