NHAI opens Rs 10.24 billion Madurai ring road project for traffic

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has completed and opened for traffic its Rs 10.24 billion Madurai Ring Road project, a major infrastructure initiative aimed at improving connectivity around Madurai city. The project, spanning 29.96 km was executed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana programme, seeks to reduce travel time, ease congestion in the city, and facilitate smoother movement of commuters and goods.

The inauguration of the Madurai Ring Road marks the successful completion of a significant highway development project in Tamil Nadu.
