Afcons Infrastructure Limited has completed the first segment erection commissioning, using the launching girder at Piplani Chouraha for the elevated 13 km Ratnagiri – Bhadbhada stretch under the Bhopal Metro Rail Project Phase I.
The Bhopal Metro Project involves development of a metro rail transit system in Madhya Pradesh comprising two corridors of total length of 27.87 km at an estimated cost of Rs 69.4 billion.
