Union Government inaugurates Package VI, VII of Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway Project in Gujarat

The central government inaugurated the Gandeva-Ena Expressway Project (Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway Project) and the Ena-Kim Expressway Project (Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway Project), part of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway under Bharatmala Pariyojana, in Gujarat on June 5, 2026. The Ena-Kim Expressway Project involved the construction of a 36.93 km long eight-lane access-controlled expressway from km 217.5 to km 254.43 at an estimated cost of Rs 15,268.6 million. The project forms Package VI of Phase I, Part B, of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway under the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The Gandeva-Ena Expressway Project involved the construction of a 27.5 km long eight-lane access-controlled expressway on the Gandeva-Ena road stretch from km 190 to km 217.5 in the Surat district of Gujarat. The project forms Package VII of Phase I, Part B, of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway under the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
