Indian Railways (IR) has approved Provision of Electronic Interlocking at 13 stations on the Durg-Taroki Section Project on July 1, 2026. It has been sanctioned at a cost of Rs 2.26 billion.
The scope of work involves replacement of existing Panel Interlocking (PI) system with Electronic Interlocking (EI) at 13 stations which includes Marauda (MXA), Risama (RSA), Gundardehi (GDZ), Latabor (LBO), Balod (BXA), Kusumkasa (KYS), Dalli Rajhara (DRZ), Gudum (GUDM), Bhanupratappur (BPTP), Keoti (KETI), Antagarh (AAGH), Taroki (TDOK), and Raipur Store Depot (RSD).
The project involves provision of EI at 13 stations on the Durg-Taroki section in Raipur division under the South East Central Railway (SECR) zone at a cost of Rs 2.26 billion.
