GMDA commences trial run of 18 km long pipeline from the Chandu Budhera WTP to the Sector 72 boosting station

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has commenced the trial run of the 18 km long pipeline from the Chandu Budhera water treatment plant (WTP) to the Sector 72 boosting station. An approximate 10 km stretch of the pipeline has been tested, while the remaining stretch is expected to be tested in phases. Once operational, the project will ensure water supply to sectors 58-80 in Gurugram. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 630 million and the trial run is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.
