BPCL completes 2.3 km offshore sea-to-land HDD pull under Mumbai-Rasayani pipeline

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has completed an offshore sea-to-land horizontal directional drilling (HDD) pull spanning a length of 2.3 km and a diameter of 22 inches under the Mumbai-Rasayani pipeline. The project was executed in a highly demanding inter-tidal zone with engineering excellence, precise planning and adherence to safety standards. It also featured alignment control and real-time monitoring of operations. The Mumbai-Rasayani pipeline is expected to strengthen the movement of fuel and support energy security.
