The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) and MahaGenco Renewable Energy Limited (MahaGenco REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly explore and develop renewable energy projects and emerging clean energy technologies in Maharashtra and other parts of the country.
The collaboration will focus on firm and dispatchable renewable energy, round-the-clock renewable power, battery energy storage systems, pumped storage projects, green hydrogen, green ammonia, power trading and project monitoring consultancy services. The partnership envisages a potential project pipeline of up to 5 GW.
