The Union Government has recently approved Ahmedabad Metro Phase 2A Project.
The project spanning 6.03 km from Ashram Road to Airport, will have five stations (four elevated and one underground) in total. The stations planned under this corridor are Ashram Road, Koteshwar Prachin Mandir, Sabarmati River, Sardar Nagar and Airport. The project entails investment of Rs 21.69 billion.
