Vikran Engineering Limited has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire a 49 per cent stake in NOPL Solar Projects Private Limited for about Rs 49 million. NOPL Solar Projects Private Limited is engaged in the development, operation and maintenance of solar projects and is associated with a 969 MWac grid-connected project under Component C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme in Maharashtra. In December 2025, Vikran Engineering Limited secured a large engineering, procurement and construction contract from Onix Renewables for the development of a 600 MW (AC) solar power project across multiple locations in Maharashtra. The scope of work includes end-to-end execution covering design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the project, with completion targeted within a 12-month period.
