IOCL’s Malkapur Terminal in Hyderabad, Telangana witnesses inauguration

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has inaugurated the Malkapur terminal in Hyderabad, Telangana. The facility has been built at a cost of Rs 6.11 billion, and is set to cater to 23 districts in the state. It has a total tankage capacity of 165,000 kilolitres. The pipeline-fed terminal is expected to reduce annual logistics costs by approximately Rs 2.9 billion, while also cutting carbon dioxide emissions by around 27,000 tonnes per year. It aims to improve the fuel supply efficiency across Telangana and is a notable step in strengthening the country’s energy infrastructure.
