EMS Limited receives LoA for Durgakund, Nariyan, Sarainandan, Jolha Northan and Bhelupur Sewer Network Project Package 4

EMS Limited has received an LoA worth approximately Rs 1.44 billion for the implementation of the Durgakund, Nariyan, Sarainandan, Jolha Northan and Bhelupur (5 of 18 problematic wards) Sewer Network Project Package 4 under AMRUT 2.0 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on May 4, 2026. Bids for the same were invited by the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam in March 2026. The scope of work involves surveying, soil investigation, etc., required for the laying of the sewer network, etc. The work also includes commissioning, testing, trial run, and the defect liability period of one year for civil works and two years for electrical and mechanical works after successful completion of the trial run. The work is likely to be completed within two years, including a three-month trial run.
